Alumni contribute to the development of Institution in various ways: Though, SIOP alumni are relatively young; they have embarked upon illustrious career paths. The experience of alumni in the world of work makes current students aware of realistic complexities that they will face when entering a pharmaceutical industry. This helps the present students groom themselves. As we are constantly evolving, feedback is a vital component in our process of growth. Alumni give feedback about the courses taught and with their inputs, and conduct workshops in the institute for enhancing skills and entrepreneurship development. This helps in institutional, academic and infrastructure development.

They further help facilitate industrial visits for current students. Their suggestions are duly recognized and implemented by the institute. They support postgraduate research by providing gift samples of active pharmaceutical ingredients, polymers and testing facilities. The alumni regularly assist the placement cell in student recruitments. They act as career advisers and regularly inform the Training & Placement Cell about vacancies in various companies. They share their experiences and techniques for preparation for competitive examinations. Thus, alumni help in enhancing both the quality of curriculum and employability of the students, which is evident from following table.
