Introduction

Welcome to the official website of Samarth College of Computer Science, Belhe, tal-junnar, Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, recognized by UGC under section 2(f) and 12(B) run by Samarth Rural Institute, Rajuri, established in 2012 under the leadership of Hon. Shri.Vasantrao gangaram shelke. The Institution offers degree courses like B.B.A. (I.B.), B.C.A (Sci.), B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Information Technology), B.Com. Post graduate courses in M.Sc.(Computer science), M.Sc.(Computer Application), and certificate courses like Soft Skills Development Programme, Yoga. Most of the students in the Institution come from rural and hilly areas and they do not wish to pursue dual degree.

The Institution has been Reaccredited with grade ‘B’ (CGPA: 2.72) by NAAC in the academic year 2018-19, when the Institution had to pass through the hard times because of the inadequate financial assistance and other material things. But after the accreditation by NAAC the Institution has emerged as one of the reputed Institutions in semi-urban area as such, imparting a quality education for all and led it to every door step in rural and hilly area in and around Junnar, Parner, Akole, sangamner.

The Student of Samarth College of Computer Science has maintain the quality of education which resulted the well qualified students getting the positions in the merit of university. Also the students getting various high profile jobs in various private and public sectors as well as in govt. sector. The Institution provides support services for the implementation of academic activities in a well discipline manner and healthy spirit.

Samarth College of Computer Science, Belhe

Samarth College of Computer Science College was established in June 2012.At the beginning 14 students were admitted for F.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science). After that there were 240 student in our college in academic year 2017-2018 .Our college result is also excellent. In the academic year 2014-15 our college result was 81.81% and in the academic year 2016-17 our college result was 80%. Of course our college has not only increased quantitative but also qualitative growths.

In 2015, 18 students were passed from T.Y.B.Sc. (Computer Science). In 2016, 29 students were passed and they are doing a good job.At present various students doing work in IT Field and also some of them are working in other areas. Our college has been organizing many activities for the students such as guest lectures, P.P.T presentation, lectures through ICT, unit test, seminars and group discussions which are beneficial for students. Haemoglobin checkup for youth, awareness of superstitions, Beti Bachav-Beti padhav etc. From the academic year 2013-14 our college has established development of student board. In this section our college has arranged workshop and seminar for development of the students.

Library is the soul of college. In our library, there are various text books and reference books are available for students. There is separate reading hall for students study. Library also provides newspapers and magazines to the students. In sports, our students have done genius work. We have various grounds such as Kabbadi, Holly ball, Cricket, Kho-kho, Long jump, High jump etc. And our students participates in these games and achieves great success.

College also arranges other activities such as cultural program, annual gathering, competitive exams etc. Many students from our college got first rank in various activities arranges by other colleges. There are many facilities available for students such as good infrastructure, best grounds, gym, pure water, bus service, good laboratory & computer labs. We have well qualified and experienced teaching staff. Director of our college management & entire body members always motivates, supports and guides to clever & poor students.
